Sleeping Bag 1.0 TOG Willow

The Sleeping Bag (previously the Jersey Sleeping Bag) is an arms-out sleeping bag for infants and toddlers. It's slim-fit shape and stretchy organic jersey cotton material are similar to the fit and feel of a swaddle to help ease the transition out of swaddling to arms-out sleeping. We recommend this product as baby's first sleeping bag, after the swaddling newborn phase is over.

Safety Guidelines

• Correct Fit: Ensure the neck and armholes are snug (two fingers fit) to prevent slipping, but loose enough for hip movement (frog-like position).
• No Upsizing: Buy the correct size for your child's weight; a larger size is a suffocation risk.
• TOG Rating: Use the included thermometer and guide to layer correctly. Higher TOGs (2.5, 3.5) are for warmth, lower TOGs for warmer rooms.
• Car Seat Safety: Do not use padded Sleep Suit Bags (2.5 or 3.5 TOG) in car seats.
• Fabric & Overheating: Natural fibers (cotton, bamboo) are breathable and help regulate temperature, preventing overheating and skin irritation.

Care Instructions

• Washing: Gentle/delicate cold machine wash with mild detergent.
• Load Size: Wash with a full load of clothing (not just towels/linen) for balance; place winter TOGs in a garment bag.
• Drying: Tumble dry low; low heat maintains loft and prevents shrinking/fading.
• Ironing: Moderately hot iron if needed, but heat can damage fabric.
• Avoid: Bleach, soaking, hot water, and dry cleaning.

Always match the product's TOG rating to the room temperature and your child's sleepwear, using the provided thermometer as a guide to prevent overheating.
