Aster & Ruby Layby Policy

We know that sometimes you find the perfect item but would prefer to pay it off over time.

Our Layby service allows you to secure your favourite products today and make payments that suit your budget, with collection once the balance has been paid in full.

Getting Started

To start a Layby, simply visit us in store and choose your items.

A minimum deposit of 20% of the total purchase price is required to secure your Layby.

Your items will then be reserved exclusively for you while you complete your payments.

Layby Period

Our standard Layby period is 8 weeks.

Need a little longer? Just chat with our team. We understand that every family's circumstances are different and we'll do our best to help where possible.

Making Payments

Payments can be made in store at any time during the Layby period.

There is no minimum amount required for each payment, however the Layby must be paid in full by the agreed completion date.

Cancellation of a Layby

You may cancel your Layby at any time before collection.

As your items have been removed from sale and held specifically for you, the initial 20% deposit is non-refundable if you choose to cancel your Layby or do not complete the agreed payments.

Any amount paid above the initial deposit may be refunded at Aster & Ruby's discretion.

Overdue Laybys

If your Layby becomes overdue, we will attempt to contact you using the details provided.

If we are unable to reach you or arrange ongoing payments within 14 days of the due date, your Layby may be cancelled and the items returned to stock.

Collecting Your Items

Once your Layby has been paid in full, your items can be collected from store.

We may ask for identification before releasing your order.
